Akane was a normal little girl until she was kidnapped at the age of 12 for capabilities she wasn't aware she possessed. She and her brother were put through a cruel game to bolster and later use their sort-of-psychic abilities, which resulted in Akane dying. Sort of. Pieces of her remained, and Akane was able to transport her consciousness to the future for the expressed purpose of seeking revenge. In a way, Akane exists in many different ways, on different timelines, and it is difficult to discern what the 'true' Akane is like or how she feels.
We can surmise that she is a diligent person, one who will do whatever is necessary to get what she wants. She is also a loyal person, someone who would protect those closest to her and dispose of those that endanger them. Akane is manipulative, which is expressed in many ways. She clearly enjoys teasing others and watching them squirm, such as playing dumb with Junpei to elicit a mild sexual frustration to convincing others that she definitely isn't the one who orchestrated a murder game that they're all entwined in. She's also rather weird, knowing trivial information about the occult, history, and conspiracy theories. She can act quite ditzy and indulges in girly things, such as playing with her hair when she sees a mirror, and if asked about herself, she'd blush and say she's just a normal girl, which couldn't be farther from the real truth.
In the end, she's a complex girl with complex feelings, but she isn't a bad person. She shows true affection for her childhood friend, Junpei; Junpei, after all, is the reason she risked her life when she was 12 years old. She is courageous, and has the good of humanity in mind always. She is courageous, extreme, resilient, human. And she is unyielding.
Powers and Skills: Akane is an esper. What this means is that she is able to tap into the Morphogenetic Field. The morphogenetic field is a metaphysical plane that exists separately from the human world, where thoughts and information is stored. It is thought that the morphogenetic field is the reason many things happen; trends arise in humans, group thinking, etc. What makes Akane truly unique, though, is that she excels at both sending and receiving messages, whereas most espers are only especially good at one. It's similar to the movie Inception, where she implants things into other people's minds. This likely will have no applicable uses within the course of the game.

Sin: Wrath is the most prevalent for Akane. Most of her life was spent as a giant ploy to get revenge on the people who killed her, and she endangers multiple innocents on her path for vengeance. If she exhibits any other sin, it'd probably be pride, as she believes in her own capabilities and endangers innocents under the pretense that her plan definitely will work, meaning they'll be safe in the end; it, in a way, is putting herself before others.
Item: A bracelet with a digital face that reads "6".
Motive: A lot. First of all, if Akane is slighted, she will seek vengeance. She'll commit a crime if she feels it will benefit a greater group of people, a la vigilante justice. She'd be motivated to do away with someone if she feels they know something that they shouldn't, or if they will be a hindrance to her plans. She is fiercely protective of her brother and also quite loyal to her childhood friend, Junpei, and would kill to protect them.
